-          Applicants, Manufacturers have medicines circulating in Vietnam
On 09/19/2013, Ministry of Health issues the official letter 5890/BYT-QLD temporary guiding to extend the validity of registration number for product has expired registration number and submitted renewal dossier but yet granted registration number, providing the medicines for medical facilities according to the bidding contract, the effective of the official letter 5890/BYT-QLD only until 01/15/2015. However, there remain many of the valid bidding contracts for medical facilities, while not yet granted registration number.
Therefore, to ensure there are enough medicines for the treatment needs of medical facilities for supplied-drug bidding contracts in the waiting time of registration numbers, Ministry of Health informs extended validity policy applied by the official letter 5890/BYT-QLD as follows:
1.      The consideration for the extension of the validity of the registration number prescribed in the official letter No. 5890/BYT-QLD dated 09/19/2013 of Ministry of Health about temporary guiding to extend the validity of registration number will continue until 06/30/2016.
2.      Proposal dossier for extension of validity of the registration number comply with the provisions in the official letter No. 5890/BYT-QLD date 09/19/2013.
Ministry of Health announces to the Health departments of provinces and cities under central, units to implementation. In the course of implementation, if any difficulties or problems arise, medical facilities or units promptly report to Ministry of Health (Drug Administration of Vietnam) to consider and resolve./.
